Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Above and beyond customer service. When asked for a side caesar salad and was informed that they didn't have the lettuce to make it, they heard the disappointment through the phone order. When we went to go pick up the rest of the order we found out that they made a special run to pick up the lettuce at a grocery store to make our salad and then proceeded to comp the salad off our check. Made our nights.

grew up with the tortorices in MP. This place is just as good, and i have it everytime Im back in town at least 2x

Pizza was decent. Needs more sauce.

This pizza looks better than it tastes. The wings were OK as well. Got the bbq flavor wings and they tasted like buffalo. Nothing special with this place. The toppings on the pizza were huge, not in a good way. Probably wouldn't order from here again willingly.

I love this pizza! The double dough crust is crispy on the bottom and so soft and fluffy on the inside. The sauce is savory, and not overly sweet, just really robust and "tomato-y" (for lack of a better word). Finally, the service is superior, which is why we continue to return. Keep up the stellar work!

This is my #2 choice for pizza in the area. Still receives 5 stars from me though! If you like obscene amounts of cheese, this is your place! You really can't go wrong. Although I should make a point of trying some of their other menu items too.

I've been a loyal fan for 3.5 years. They have multiple locations and their product is the best I've had. Even surpassed Lou Malnati's in my book. The family that owns the locations have become very close friends! They're all so friendly and catering to my every whim! I haven't experienced such service ever. I'm a regular at the downers grove location since I'm down there more often than here, but this place has stole my heart and I do NOT want it back! I love my pie done, and I mean D.O.N.E. And they know how to make a DONE pizza. Pro tip: get it well done. It's the only way to go. I get it super well done. So you won't get anything crazy, promise.

For some reason, the pizza was better this time. We got the deep dish veggie, with fresh chopped tomato, onion, spinach and mushrooms. The vegetables were really fresh, very good veggies. I think it's safe to say this was the healthiest pizza I've ever eaten, if there could be such a thing. One thing I noticed was the lack of grease. The pizzas aren't overloaded with cheese, there's just enough, and the crust too, isn't greasy at all. My daughter commented that the sauce wasn't sweet or spicy enough. Maybe a little sweetener to boost the tomatoes and some crushed red pepper would be nice. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it this time.

Tortorice's is absolutely delicious! Our absolute favorite pizza there is their specialty Western thin crust. Loaded with bacon, sausage, and onions, on top of sweet barbecue sauce - it's out of this world!

Amazing pizza as always! I love their thin crust Popeye (spinach and ricotta). I thought tonight would be busy it being New Years Eve, but my pizza was ready when I got there. Very prompt service at the counter. I love this place!!! My go-to pizza joint!

Decent thin crust pizza, a good option in suburbs. Very slow delivery service. I personally like Joe's pizzeria more.

Pizza tasted okay to me, not my favorite by far. But my thin crust loving husband was pretty much over the moon about it. He really liked the flavor and texture of the crust too. We would try this place again.

This is a well made pizza, with a really nicely textured thin crust, but the flavor of the crust, olives, sauce and cheese lack distinction. Bland, good pizza, just the way my kids like it!

Great pizza and super fresh salad. Excellent customer service and pizza delivery staff. You can't go wrong with thin crust or their Chicago style deep dish.

This is hands-down my favorite pizza in the area. I enjoyed some Tortorice's on my first night living in Wheeling and have been back several times since then. I've never had a bad pizza from them, and the appetizers I've tried (pizza bread, breaded veggies and jalapeno poppers) have all been pretty tasty. Their deep dish is the best I've had in all of Chicagoland, far better than any of the bigger local chains.

My family and I have gotten our pizza here for about a decade. We always love it, in fact we love it so much that we get once a week. The friendliness of the owners and all the other staff is astonishing.

Fast. Hot. Reasonably priced. You go to pick up your food and they are super friendly.

I think I found my new pizza spot! Decided to give it a try and so glad I did. They were very polite when I came in for carry out. The pizza and breadsticks were delish!!! The place could use a little makeover but other then that I recommend!

Last night my hubby and I ordered pizza and wings from here for the first time. We had gotten sick of all the pizza in the area and I'm so glad we gave this place a shot! It's the best pizza I've had in the 5-6 years I've lived here, hands down. Even my picky 6 year old devoured it. Their costumer service is some of the best you'll get, they really care about their costumers!!
(5)Howard C.
We like Tortorice's. It's pretty much between them and Nino's for BG cheap Italian. Great prices. Always has coupons in the local mailers. Pizza is very good. Cheesy breadsticks are a weakness of mine and they do them well. I also have enjoyed the chicken parm sub as well. Nothing to make you rethink life, but a good enough spot for some pickup or delivery in the Buffalo Grove area. Guys are always super nice. We've definitely become fans.
(4)Brian M.
If you like cheese, get the Picasso! Very good pizza, and I liked how I was given a recommendation based on how much cheese I like on my pizza. I had been intending to try this pizza for a while, and I'm glad I finally did!
(5)Craig S.
BEST pizza in the NW burbs, PERIOD!! Prices are a tad above average, but well worth it. Bring an appetite if you want deep dish...huge and hot and gooey!! This is take out only and parking can be tight as lot is smallish. Try the other pizza places in the area, then compare for the best. No need for more...try this place!!

We order from here at least twice a week, their soups are excellent their subs are great and their pepper and egg sandwich is delicious, Matt the manager is extremely nice, great food, try it
(5)Piotr T.
Very good tasting pizza. I have tried the thin and the stuffed , both were excellent..Would highly recommend this place. The owners are very friendly.

Ordered delivery on the coldest day of this winter and the thin crust cheese and sausage pizza and fries, was delivered hot and quickly. From the person on the phone taking the order to the delivery person, everything was great.

Yum! We have lived in this area for over 20 years and typically got pizza from the same place. Tonight we decided to break the mold and try Tortorice's. First of all the owner is super nice!!! Secondly the pizza was great and lastly I am completely in love with the antipasto salad. The flavors that are put together work so well. We had a thin crust sausage pizza. There was just the right amount of meat and the pizza had great flavor. Their prices are great. You get good value for your money. They have some daily specials that look interesting. I cant wait to order from here again.

Take-out only, this is a great local pizza place. The guys that run it are nice and their food is good. I'm a big fan of their thin crust (sausage) pizza - reminds me of the pizza I enjoyed from Amato's and Jim & Pete's on North Avenue near Oak Park where I grew up. Good flavor, not too greasy. I've also ordered the Lasagna at Tortorice's as well - good taste and great value.

Just ordered for the first time from them and had it delivered ,used to go to the Tortorice's on Algonquin road in Desplaine's and loved it, there are so many Pizza places around Arlington Heights that have great food and service, this is now in my Top 3 pizza places to order from, They answered the phone with enthusiasm , order was delivered rather quickly, and the pizza was excellent!
(5)John K.
Our go-to place for thin crust pizza, best in NW Suburbs. Owner and staff are very friendly. One of those places you like doing business with.
(5)Kevin D.
Tortorice's HOW WE HAVE MISSED YOU!! How could I have been eating the "other guys" pizza and not gotten the awesome thin crust (a little well done, YUM) with extra cheese that you served up? Perfection! Chicago deep dish next time! Thank you Matt for making our pizzas perfect!
(5)Chan Y.
My favorite pizza place in the Chicago area. I guess I haven't been everywhere, but I really love their thin crust pizza. Haven't tried the pizza at their other locations, but the pizza here is definitely top notch.
(5)Sue B.
Our family LOVES their pizza. I have recently discovered the Chicago style thin crust/ It is like the Chicago style pizza with chunky tomatoes sauce on top but with a thinner crust. It is THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!! The deep dish is awesome too, better than others in the area.
